Introduction

One of the basic principles of the European Capital of Culture programme is thinking together and acting together. The Pécs2010 programme will be implemented in 2010 as a result of the inclusion of the entire society and constant cooperation with the local people, civic organisations and economic enterprises. The Management Centre looks forward to receiving the application of all those who would like to participate in the programme, for whom the success of the city and the Capital of Culture programme is important and who are ready to act for this goal.

Pécs is truly a "Borderless City", and it is the people living here that make it such a place.
